    My taxi called and wanted me to come up to check the ears to see if I liked the way he set them before they were set for good.

    I snapped a few pictures, he still has to do all the touch up work and stuff, this is just the ROUGH mount. I was VERY impressed and I LOVE the ears..

    What do you guys think so far?

    Sorry for the quality. I took them with my phone.

    Thanks guys, I'll get some good quality pictures on here as soon as I get it home.

    He should have it finished up by this time next week. I'm really excited to get it back. This guy will be my new go to guy for taxidermy work, he's a real stand up guy. Not to mention he charged me $250, which is one heck of a deal.

    I didn't realize he was such a good looking deer, but the cape on him is beautiful. The guy said he was the best looking deer he has done all year.

    That's one of the better-looking mounts I've seen in a while, Matt... Of course, it's a little hard to see details in those pics and that's where the devil is in taxidermy work, as you know. Still, a pretty mount and that price is unbelievable; congrats on your beautiful buck.
