Ok guys and gals I'v been looking at getting a new set of arrows that will give me better KE and momentum when my tax money gets in. I'm not shooting the fastest bow out right now currently I'm shooting a 390gr 28.5" arrow at 260fps. My stats are 63# DW 28" DL. I'm not so worried about speed but retaining some speed would be nice. I'm just wanting major penetration. Thanks in advance to suggestions and if any questions just ask.

Look at some easton FMJ's. May fly a bit slower but momentum and penetration would definitely increase.

Check out easton flatline. 400 shafts are 7.4 gpi, 340 shafts are 8.2 gpi. I was shooting Carbon Express Mayhem 250 8.9 and I switched to the lighter Flatline 400, still get pass throughs at 40 yds with my Z7x 63# 28in draw. dont be afraid to have them cut a bit shorter. $120 for a dozen. Fly better then The Mayhem hunters, are cheaper and they are made in USA.

260 FPS?... I remember when outdoor archery writers were questioning if 250 fps was even possible. The thought back then (in the late 80s)was that 250 would create too erratic and unstable flight characteristics for the arrows to fly correctly. Yet,we all managed to kill deer and pigs with our 200 fps bows (or less) and 600 grain arrows(or more)... amazing. And I always had a clean pass through without even knowing mechanical broadheads existed.

My first Ben Pearson bow probably shot more like 150 fps yet was still quite deadly with 7/8 inch Satellite heads and 2018 aluminum arrows.

Harvest time archery has some nice arrow options. Take a look at them. They run around $100-120 for a dozen. There what I will get for my next batch of arrows.
