    rancid -

youre not a fan of tattoos and thats totally cool. in fact, you are more than welcome to share that opinion here as long as it is shared in a positive way. my original post was calling you out on ripping the guy that started the post for his spelling and grammar. no one here needs that, especially someone new to the site. havent seen him post since.....

    Muzzy Man -

kudos to you for being the bigger man. you demonstrated excellent character and i admire that

You did well. You provided what was asked for. I failed in that request but I also learned a valuable lesson and am hopeful not to repeat the mistake.

My suggestion...(and yes I have 2 tats) is before you go know what you want or don't go...never go to a Shop and have no idea what you want....if not you will get something you will regret in yrs to come. Also, have a basic idea cause a good artist will add his opinion to what you take him and the final drawing may be something totally awesome.

And last, the 2 tats I have are something that is meaningful to me...(a Tat representing my Mother who passed several yrs ago, and a Tat representing my Wife and 2 kids) and though they mean something very special and dear to me, I totally regret getting them, before getting your Tat make sure this is something that your not just wanting cause it's the cool thing to do nowadays, but cause you really have to have it.

    Just my 2cents though

Scars are way cooler than tattoo's and most of them don't require any planning.

Don't rush into it. It's going to be a blob of something for the rest of your life.

I thought about a tat myself but like you I could never decide but what I can say is I'm glad I didn't get tatoos of any of my past ideas:) You grow up and change over time and I see a lot of people with faded tats that look likeass. IMO

    Keep thinking about it. IMO

I have 3, none hunting related. My Only advice is don't get them where if you wanted to they couldn't be covered. No matter how you slice it they"ll always be people that don't care for them and those people could be between you and a profession. As far as regrets, I barely remember they are there. My bodies a temple so what if I want to dress it up a little.

    Good advise.

My A/C guy has a great tech that works with him but he can't send him on any jobs alone because he's got tats on his arms and neck and his clients flat out told him "I don't want that guy in my house".

In a slow economy it's one way of making yourself a little less employable.

Now that I'm older I really don't get the attraction except to say, I'll over the age of 18 and do whatever I want with my body...see

I got mine when I graduated highschool. I thought on it for three years. The questions I asked myself were......
    1. Where can I put it that a T-Shirt covers up
    2. How would it affect me if I was in a professional type career
    3. What is something I know I will never regret having on my body

I have had it for years now and still have not regretted it one day. I put a lot of thought into it, its simple, plain, and fits me.

I have two, this one on my left arm and a browning symbol on my right shoulder blade. No pic of that one but you get the idea. 487930_4433246713013_321825623_n.jpg
