Wouldn't you hate to get all that on you and that have a misspelling smack-dab in the middle of it like she's got? Of course, she's probably too dumb to notice it... :D
I have a friend who tattoos for a living. He said its the gaffe of gaffes in the tattoo world and does happen frequently.
No doubt. Only walleye fishing I do is basically drifting with bottom boppers and trolling. I wouldn't mind trying my hand at jigging and others.
Late to this thread, but definatley love good artwork and am gonna get another done this summer. Mine will have some significants to me personally, I really wouldnt care what others thought.
All I can say is fellas, if you need a sentimental feely good reason to have a tat, well tartar sauce on you. Its rather catchy isn't it.
Greg, I engraved a Rock for a co worker a month ago for his Daughter as a wedding gift. He gave me the Dates on paper and after I handed it to him he went uh oh, gave you the wrong Date
Funny Dan... but at least it wasn't PERMANENT on someone's body, ya know?! I'm like Justin.... he actually summed up my thoughts extremely well for me when I first read the thread ... my thoughts about what I like, my tastes and my interests all change over time as I grow older, mature, whatever... I just can't see putting something on myself that can never be removed. If I like a picture, I'll draw it... or have someone else draw it and buy it. That way, I can hang it on a wall and when I'm tired of looking at it I can take it down and put it in a closet. :D
I understand what you are saying but, let me give you an example of a tattoo that will always reflect my tastes and interests even as I get older than I already am LOL. When my daughter and I were alone for a while I used to carry her on my left hip a lot because I am right handed. It was a time in her life, after a bit of trauma, that she did not want to be alone, even for a minute, so, she was on my hip a lot LOL. She used to rest her right hand on the back of my shoulder and that was how we would go about our business, her on my hip, her hand on my shoulder. What I did was get some finger paints, blue, her favorite color at the time, and had her make a few hand prints on some of that thick project paper that schools use. I took the hand prints to a very good tattoo artist and asked him if he could put that hand print on my shoulder, in the same place she always put her hand. He said he could and he did. It is an excellent reproduction and looks just like her hand print, little lines, crevices and all. She loves it and was just as excited as I was. The next time I put her on my hip, without either of us thinking about, she puts her hand right on it. I just don't see myself ever wanting to remove that tattoo .
The way I look at it is my tats may very well be some of the only things that I will own for my whole life. We buy many things that wear out, get lost, or get sold off. At least my ink isn't going any where. :D
