I have both arms tattooed and not one has a "meaning", they just represent where I was in life at the time. Soon as I graduate I am going to get one recolored since it is 20 years old and the other I will get finished. I usually say "that looks cool put that right here".
"Piss" on your right hand and "Off!" on your left.... then anytime you feel a little grumpy you can just show them the fists of fury:p
Mine has meaning, but im sure ill get one on a whim sometime. I have another one planned for my side right now actually...fire department related...
So you think your really that pretty that a few ugly paint strokes on that flesh canvas would ruin the whole painting. See I consider myself an old car you can go out and camo up and it won't hurt anything.
Interesting enough, but the thread is more about folks having to have this heartfelt reason to get one.
I was going to and called home back in '67 from the base. I told the girlfriend (the present Mrs. CI) that a bunch of us werre going on weekend leave to Laredo Texas and get some tatoos. She talked me out of it. I always knew she had way better common sence than I did. No disrespect intended to any people who like them but it isn't for me.
The only one of mine that has any real meaning is my last name around the wrist. However they all are part of me, drew most of them myself. I have a whole sleeve going on my left arm, wrist to armpit. I have a good bit to get done yet but just been too busy to draw some more stuff up.
Same here. The only time that I do is if I'm meeting directly with a customer, which thankfully doesn't happen very often.
