For you folks who are going to shoot In this league Jeff's setting up, what do you use for a back stop? In other words what do you tack your paper on to?

My block target I think., If not I guess some ratched strap pressed square bales.

If you take a large burlap bag, seed bag or dog food bag and stuff it full and tight with saran wrap, plastic shopping bags/trash bags or pallet wrapping, etc. it makes a GREAT target bag. They're weather proof and last a very long time...and they're FREE!!! If you look in the picture below you can see some of mine.

ONLY GOOD FOR FIELD POINTS NOT BROADHEADS

Ive never shot a league, so im going to simply tack my targets to a block type target, or barg foam.

I have a nice piece large of styrofoam that a buddy gave me. They received as packing on a large order where he works. That was about the best target I personally had. I have access to lots of great targets at my club though.

If anyone could get the picture to post and let me know how they did it, I'd sure appreciate it.

I have some big, ugly foam thing that LBR sold me. Damn thing must weigh 150lbs, but its tough as nails. Been shooting that rascal for a few years and still going strong. I'm not sure where he found them but you might could check with him on where to find something similar in your area.

That would work no doubt but I'm not about to spend a fortune on something that I'm not going to hardly use. If the 4x4 block could handle my Snuffers better I'd do It but they don't like them all to well. I bought one 2 years ago, lasted 2 months.;)

    Schultzy,

You going to have to find some big and flat. Sounds like the cheapest alternative would be a couple hay bales.

Snuffers eat blocks for lunch. Don't you have field points?

Mine will get tacked to my Yellowjacket. If I miss that, we'll see how well Carbon Expresses hold up to concrete block.
