Has anyone tried or had luck with using fence post foam as a shooting block? I’ve only come across guys shooting low draw recurves and the arrows survived. My concern is will the arrow hold up coming off a 70 pound compound at nearly 300 fps?

Not exactly, but I have used expanding foam to hold together my Rhine art 18-1 which I pretty much shot into about 6 big pieces. I was shooting througb the foam pretty quick as it doesn't self heal.

I use about a foot of corrugated cardboard/boxes add a back stop. It gets recycled and replaced every spring.
