I am hunting over some cut soy fields that have become good and green. but cannot get the deer closer than 50 yards. I have a life size 3d buck target that I use in the yard and it has a good hole in it from all the shooting. I am wondering if I can use it as a decoy to pull some deer within range or would it scare deer cause of the hole.
My buddy has used an old wore out decoy before and it has worked before,So it would probably work in the right situation.
