Excellent vid. Reminds me of when I was a kid I would go to the coffee shop with my dad almost every Saturday morning. There was these huge table. Maybe seated 10-12. There was a group of World War II vets that would bring in all kinds of scrapbooks, photos albums, and other memorabilia and share their experiences with the other vets and anyone that was willing to listen. Some of the things they told me still stick with me to this day. Unimaginable.... I am not sure how they could talk about it but it seemed like it was part of their process of dealing with it.

All those WWII vets are heroes, all of them.

That is just awesome! I have never found anything I truly enjoy more then just sitting with old war vets and listening to the stories that they have to share! Truly an American hero!

I've known a lot of WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans throughout my life and respected
their sacrifice. I also know many veterans from all the other conflicts we have been in since. I see a difference between how I feel about those who went before me and those who were my peers. Where those are held in awe, my peers I hold dear but look at it as we were/are just doing what we volunteered to do.
