Both are an adventure!!!! In the end your children will want to make you burn your finger tips off.

My wife got pregnant on the first try with both our kids. I was bummed! First try...(shaking head), talk about taking all the fun out of it.

What were we talking about again?

My question is, what do you do with the oil afterwards?

If you buy quality oil, you can re-use it 3-5X. Let it cool.....then store your pot in a lawn-sized garbage bag....or anything you can close up, securely.

Where do you get rid of the oil after the 5th use? Unfortunately, my house does not have a grease trap. I presume you pour it back in the bottles or two liter bottles and take it to the dump?

Yup, I strain mine, using a funnel, through cheesecloth back into the original containers for storage. Straining it gets out all the gunk from frying fish and cooking hush puppies etc too. At $15 a gallon for peanut oil you got to get at least a couple uses out of it.
