That is why I said in my case.Last year I was on the low end of ke and no way was I going to put extra rubber bands around the blades.

Matter of fact, the day I shot my buck I was sitting there thinking how much I disliked the Rages and changed back to my Steelhead while on stand.Shot my buck a short time later.:d

You're going to hear these "horror stories" about any broadhead. I'd say go for it...sounds like you didn't need to ask us anyhow. ;)

I started shooting mechanicals last year (Rocky Mtn Snypers) and they were great.

A wise hunter once told me "less moving parts equals less failures". I am trying to keep it simple and will continue to shoot NAP products which have never let me down.

The hunter that told me shoots NAP also;)

Each time I have touched the release the rage has performed flawlessly...maybe that changes at some point but I have no issues so far. But I am not as keen as some who have witnessed their broadhead failing to open in flight and actually watching it dive or sail or any of the other obvious "broadhead" failures that could in no way be blamed on the archer. I have 4 left and when they are gone I will more than likely go with a heavy set up with a shuttle t on the end. I have no other reason than the fact I think the shuttle t is a nice broadhead, the same as when I tried the rage's. I will tell you I am so impressed with them that I may renege and shoot the 1.5 or buy the last few packs of snypers on sale for $15 a pack at bass pro. I have also shot them with both blades loose and they went where aimed. I am not a fan boy, I just think they are a really good mech, same a reapers, snypers etc.

Bro, I'm just grateful that in some small way I am able to bring a taste of badassness to world, for all to enjoy, revel in, and absorb. Everyone else, by mere association, are now wreeking of badassness themselves.
