    So you're telling me that if you heard the bloodcurdling roar of a mountain lion in a tree near you as you were walking out, you wouldn't be looking behind you as you continued walking?

    I think you would there hot shot.

    Toughness isn't never being scared, it's being able to admit things scare you and do it anyway. Some people don't get that....

    Coyotes don't bother me too much, I'm pretty used to them as they are pretty thick in my area. Don't have wolves, mountain lions or bears to worry about here either. I have been pretty creeped out by a bobcat roar once. Less and 50 yards from me, it was still dark out and a mother bobcat let out a roar that made the hair on my neck stand up. A little later, after it was light enough to see, I saw two bobcat kittens hunting. They had caught a mouse, and were letting it go and catching it over and over. I can only assume the momma was getting onto the kittens to get out there and hunt.
