Well this one was it for me... my son's first deer ever. He made a PERFECT shot at about 45 yards and dropped her in her tracks!!!!! The bowhunting was tough, he was a trooper, the gun hunting paid off! A bunch of folks asked me to post some pics so here ya go! Headed up to the cabin in Michigan for the rest of the week! I'll post the story here in the next day or so! I'm one PROUD Papa!!!!!!!!!

Truely the stuff memories are made of. Looks like the same gun I took my first with back in 1974. I still remember it like it was yesterday tho. You both will remember that day as long yopu live. Congrats to the lucky hunter and proud papa.

I can think of no greater thrill then hunting with my sons, he looks happy and great deer by the way.
