I think it's still a surprise for her :)

I've liked Blake's singing ever since he broke through with "Austin", and knowing that he likes to bowhunt (I've seen him on Gettin' Close and Roadtrips several times) makes it easier to pay the ticket prices concerts cost these days.

I think we'll head over to Red Lobster to stuff our faces before I casually drive over to the other side of town and pull into the parking lot to surprise her.

I saw him this summer with Tim Mcgraw I think. Good show. Saw Miranda last year, good as well. You guys will have fun. I was cracking up when I caught an episode of Gettin' Close where he was wearing a camo Waffle House hat.

Blake is a good artist, and a hell of a funny guy. Should be a good time.

Red Lobster, thumbs way way up.

I might be the odd man out, but I hate watching Blake Shelton on TV. Him and Craig Morgan are two "Country Stars" that I don't care for at all. I respect the fact that they're hunters like the rest of us, but that's where it ends for me. When I see them on TV or a video I fast forward or skip to the next hunt.

Miranda Lambert, however, I can handle watching. :D

Have fun at Red Lobster. Eat some biscuits for me!

I just saw him a few weeks ago. He hadn't linked up with the sweetheart yet. It was still an awesome show. He's got some good songs in the works. Enjoy yourself Greg. I envy you cause you get to see and hear Miranda as well. I got that ventriloquist dude from America's got talent. He opened for him at the local fair. Not exactly the match that Miranda will be. Have fun man. Way to go surprising the wife. I am doing that today. Got the afternoon off by surprise, so I am scoring some points by taking her to lunch.

You know, I halfway agree with you Justin ... Blake goes a bit overboard in trying to be funny. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with you on Craig; it's like he's trying to act like he's got years and years of experience and is a "super hunter" when all he's doing is sitting in a stand that was pre-hung for him. The last time I watched him (on the most recent HS video), he was so overbowed he almost couldn't get drawn on his buck.

But I LOVE Blake's voice... and you're right, Miranda's easy on the eyes. ;)

    LOL!!

OK, Tony... I see you're NOT a country music fan at ALL! :D He's had a string of #1's since he topped the charts several years ago with "Austin"

Peak is still stuck in the 80's. If it isn't Asia or Toto he doesn't know it!

I want Blake Shelton's tour bus! Now that would make one heck of a huntin rig.

As long as someone else was paying for the gas!!

Yep... that was one of the ones they ended with... like second to last, I think? That one just hit #1 for Blake, too...

It was just an awesome show, all the way around... Blake covered The J. Geils Band's "Centerfold" at the end, as he and Miranda were playfully seeing who could get the crowd riled up the most. As I mentioned earlier, Miranda rocked the house... She's one head-bangin' little chick!

It went from times to seeming like a rock concert, to slowing down and giving the band(s) a break and pulling up a pair of stools and doing several with just the accoustical guitars to back to the way it started. Just an awesome show.

Unlike Justin, who I know loves to go to concerts all the time, I've always been a bit apprehensive on dropping $60 or so to go catch someone live when I can buy three or four of their cd's for that much. But this was money well spent, in my opinion.
