How are we all doing out there? I'm sitting here sicker than a dog having had my flue shot months ago.
My sons entire family went through it. Then hubby was hit with the intestinal version for two weeks . Son and Grandson visited earlier this past week. Saturday night it hit. I don't get temps, but sinus, whoopsies, head ache, and now a broken glass throat from coughing and sneezing.
So whats happening out there with you guys? Hopefully your missing it.

I don't get flu shots. Rely on washing hands, hand sanitizer, avoiding a-holes who come into work sick, and take Zicam/Airborne liberally when I feel something coming on. I might get one semi-bad cold per year since I started adhering to that regiment.

Stomach flu on the other hand, is not something you can really guard against. It's usually extremely contagious and once someone in your house or business gets it most likely it will get passed around.

Bad as stomach flu sucks; I look at it as an involuntary cleanse. Last 2 times I've had it I lost between 10-15 pounds each time so at least you get that benefit.

Also, sorry but I have to ask- what the heck are "whoopsies"?

with the health issues my much-better half has, I don't even notice when i'm sick anymore.

been walking on either plantar fasciitis, or a heel spur for a month now. it is what it is.

Oh man I started having that issue last year. I spend a lot of time on my feet. I believe it was because of worn shoes. Then going barefoot in the house. I have to be very conscious of walking heel to toe because I've always been a heavy stepper.
I switched shoes and then started wearing casuals with memory foam insole around the house. Eliminated the God awful foot pain.

I got the flu shot, my wife works at the school and every kid that goes home sick goes thru my wife. With that kind of exposure I get the shot. I don't have time to get sick, I have flights and reservations for the rest of the spring.

Rolls across Europe, too. I got two kids in school, so virtually every virus pays my family a visit.
Use to feel a bit strange for a day or two, perhaps a headache and some sneezing, but that's all.
But I think Beauchamp was right, and Pasteur got it wrong.
So I try to avoid poison foods, and flu shots.

get a cortisone shot, then get new shoes. Not Sketchers.
The cortisone will kill the pain and reduce swelling giving your foot time to heal. The new shoes will help keeping it from happening again.

People don't realize that shoe soles, especially Vibram soles, harden over time. So even a pair that you don't wear that often and doesn't get worn down will stiffen up after a year or two and it's like walking on cement.

No flue shot. Knock on wood... Haven’t got sick yet this winter. Everyone and their mother is sick around me though.

Sinuses have been crap for a month. Blood every couple weeks and my right sinus feels like it wont open. Getting socked in the nose a few times growing up is coming back to haunt me.

Deviated septums do suck. I might go get a stent put in. But I worry the pressure headaches will be more annoying than the constantly clogged nostril.

This is the worst it's ever been for me. Crazy thing is I cracked my nose twice growing up. Septum was bad but then was boxing at about 30 yrs old and got drilled with a left hook in the nose. Cracked my septum bad. But then my sinuses felt great after it healed. Up until a month ago. Now something happened. Long sinus infection I bet.

No cold or sore throat but my wife (teacher) must have brought home an annoying cough that I just can't seem to shake. Very fortunate in that this is the first time in the past 3 years that I've picked up much of anything.

Don't do flu shots, just very careful with cleanliness, exercise and what I eat.

So far so good. Luckily I rarely get sick. Wont get a flu shot, nope. The only time I got the flu was when I had a flu shot. Not anti-vax, but dont do flu shots.

I had a flu shot, haven't been sick in years. I do have to take an allegra nearly every day though. Something's always giving out pollen in the South.

I tend to dislike most people so I generally stay away from them, especially children works great for me

My oldest son was the only one of my three kids to not get a flu shot this year. He got the flu last week, as did half of his class at school. Woke up with a 104.5 degree fever on Thursday so I took him to the doc, got him on Tamiflu and within 2 days he was back to normal. That stuff is pretty impressive.

Doc put the rest of our house on it as a precaution but it was wreaking havoc on everyone's gut so we bailed on it. I had a flu shot along with my other 2 kids so my wife was the one at risk. So far, so good.

Outside of the flu it seems like someone is sick pretty much every week or two in my house. Nothing serious this year, just various forms of the common cold. Boogers are typically flying around fast and furious at my place.
