tail postion

    was lookn at my jake B-moblie...

    noticed that it has two tail mount postions...

    1-up right in the fan postion
    2-straight out the back

    what am i communicating to the other turkeys in the straight out the back tail postion...
    do i fan it out or leave it closed or semi-closed....??

    Straight out the back is a stance usually only used when you have the decoy postured over a ready hen decoy. In other words a crouched hen with the jake tail down and back standing over her back end. This is the breeding position. Unless set up together like this I would leave the fan upright.
