So who has one? How do you mount it to a Mathews Helim? Do you like it? I am thinking it would be great just for seeing where the shot hit, is the camera jump ok?
I've got one, it was my Christmas present to myself. I've only played around with it during practice so far but I'm somewhat impressed.
Thanks guys! Didn't think of the YouTube. Im not overall concerned with quality of video but can't beat being able to see where you hit if you have any question at all about shot.
I had the original and it works ok. The first bowstabilzer for it I did not like because it was to noisy. I used the barrel mount to attach it to my existing stabilizer. Here is some video I got from it. You can pretty much do the same thing with a GoPro in narrow view if you have one.
I sell them and have used them for 2 years... The video quality is great ( 12 mp lens) As far as noisy in the stabilizer, the only time I have ever noticed vibration or noise at the shot, is when I don't have the holding screw in the stabilizer tight !!!! My problem is that at the shot, I move my bow, but that sure isn't the Tactacam's fault LOL.....I'm not making the video for tv, only for my own memories, so I'm very happy with it... It's like I told Ben ( developer of the Tactacam) I'll switch it from video to pictures and take photos of the harvest after it's laying on the ground......
thanks for feedback guys. I have noticed it seems like since most guys (including me) move after shooting you don't get to many impact shots? They do take nice video!!
