Hey guys, Just got myself a Tactacam 3.0 For those of you who used one last season or already familiar with it, what settings do you like to hunt with it on? Do you prefer the 2.7k, 5x zoom or the slow mo? I cant see myself switching it to different modes during a hunt so just thought i'd get all your thoughts? From what I can tell just recording with it in the living room at home the video quality is amazing.
I have a 2.X and my only compliant is the picture is small. So for me it would be the 5X zoom or at least play with it to see what works best for you. I like them because they are super simple and you will always be in frame if nothing moves.
I just got a 4.0 and from what I've read it's best to film the hunt in 5x and use slow mo if you are wanting to check shot placement. I think the 5x also has better picture quality in low light.
So after tinkering with this Tactacam 3.0 I took some quick 30 second clips in the 2.7k mode and the 5x mode. I honestly think the 2.7k video looks better. The 5x zoom looks a little fuzzy to me. anyone else think this? Also, the 5x zoom doesnt even look like 5x zoom. Its more like 2x zoom
