I believe that it's the ca 4.0. I liked how small it was and thought it took some pretty nice pics for the price.

I'm still around, just working like crazy lately so not many updates. I'm going to an Aaron Lewis concert this weekend, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to check cams this weekend or not. But don't worry, Wonky, Trident, and 3rd and 7 are coming by every day :tu:

I'm still debating what I'm going to do if Wonky comes by....

Here is the buck that keeps on showing up on camera. I think he's only 3.5, so he could be a stud in the future. How old you think he is?

Eh a broad side shot would make it easier to judge but going just off the face I'd say you are probably on at 3.5

Here are some of the first pics with the new covert. I was very pleased with the quality and ease of use. BTW, the night shot was the same buck as in the above pics, he just happened to show up on this camera too.

I'm guessing he will probably go high 120's? I'm not for sure though, hope that he makes it through and hopefully I will pick up his sheds. I have what I believe are his sheds from last year. I found them laying about 6 inches apart in a bed about 150 yards from where the first pics were taken. If it is him, I hope that he will stay in the same sort of pattern he has last year and this year.

Oh yeah, I think that's probably my favorite part about hunting. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't turn down a random giant showing up in the rut, but it's so awesome to build a history with a deer and try and figure them out. A person can really learn a lot watching a particular buck grow up, even if you don't get to end up killing them. I really feel that if he makes it to 4.5 that I will have a very real chance of killing him. But for the time being, I need to focus on a different buck to hunt, and I have no pics of him yet this summer.

Looking good Ty. I really need to post pics of everything, I just keep forgetting. Just had the biggest buck of the summer show up on a pull yesterday. He is gonna be 150s for sure. He's a big mainframe 8 with a split G2 and another random kicker. There was another buck on there the same time as him that could get an arrow too. He will be mid 130ish. I'm ready to put something on the ground.

Well TJ we have a Rocket Man. Last card pull before the season shows this buck at three different spots (once during light and 15 yards from a stand). He's not the biggest but with a cyst/growth that killed his right eye and Lord knows if it'll get worse before better for him I would probably loosen an arrow at him. Be the first 2 1/2 year old I would shoot on this year's hitlist. He'd make for a cool mount with the cyst/growth attached if possible.

Again not a huge buck, but decent for us nonKansas boys.
