im in need of some new broadheads and am thinking about getting some T3s and trying them out. Have any of yall ever shot them? Ive always used rage and G5 montecs and they have never let me down. Im just wanting to try something new.. What do yall think?
I've never used them personally but I have heard nothing but good things about them. Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2
I picked some up for the first time this season and so far they work great! They fly like my field tips and they hit really hard. I killed a doe with them this past Saturday and from the moment I shot until I heard her fall and stop moving was less than 10 seconds! I was really amazed how well they preformed. The only thing you have to watch out for are the spider clips, if they get pushed down at all they wont hold the blades. all you need to do to fix them is bend them back slightly and they will hold the blades fine. I usually just give each blade a little check once I get in my stand just to make certain they are good to go. The only thing I cant attest to is the blood trail, my hit was high and she died so fast she hadn't started to bleed on the the outside. Hope that helps you make your decision!
I was just considering these for my arrows this year last night at the shop I go to and the owner raved about them. He shoots them himself and loves them.
thats what i wanted to hear. They seem pretty good so im gonna pick some up on the way to camp this evening and see if i cant test em out. thanks for the input
I shot a 3 y/o doe wednesday afternoon. The T3 BLEW and entry hole so big I could see it on the 35 yard shot. Huge exit wound. She was spilling blood till she fell at 50 yards. The shot was just behind the lungs. The T3 also broke a rib upon entry AND exit. Love this broadhead. Although when you buy them, keep the extra spider clips they give you. You have to replace them after each shot. Otherwise you can buy 24 of them from G5 for $20 shipped.
