I was out at my local shop last night talking to the pro about a new release. I've been thinking about a t-handle thumb trigger for a while. I know w/ the index trigger I've used for a number of years I tend to slap the trigger (too many years of shotgunning). The shop recommended a tT.R.U Ball Pro Diamond Extreme. He owns one himself but lent it out for the week so
I'll be able to test it soon.

I want to know who has experience w/ one and how did you like it compared to other similiar priced and styled releases. If I need to I can go try more at a larger box store, but would still buy/order one through my local shop.

My t-handle should be on the way to my local shop right now. My friend has one that I have been using lately, I really like it. I was having the same problem with slapping the trigger, but this release seems to be helping out. It seems like a good release to me.

I shoot a TRU Ball ST360. I switched from the trigger releases for the same reason. I have been very happy with the switch.

How long did it take for you guys to get comfortable w/ the t-handle?

It felt natural to me the first time I used it.

Is a t-handle harder to pull? I've heard that they don't pull weight as easily.

I didn't really notice a difference, but I guess it could be different for different people. I would just try and find one that you could try using with your bow, then go from there.

I had the same concern before I switched and there is no difference.
