That might have been one of the best college basketball games I've seen in a long time (or ever). WOW what a game. I can tell you as far as college hoops goes there is nothing quite like the intensity inside that dome for an SU game. Absolutely crazy with a record 35,500 people. Lived up to the hype and then some.
It's too bad Christmas flopped to foul out Jefferson and Parker in regulation. It would have been awesome to see both teams at full strength for OT. Sulaimon finally got his groove back! Fun game, but I definitely wasn't rooting for 'Cuse.
I agree. There were definitely some BS calls that went against Duke. And that's hard for me to say lol. I think the refs influenced that game too much in the end. Parker and Jefferson on the court as much as they should've been in the second half and it may not have even gone to OT. And that wasn't enough they went after Dawkins and fouled him out. Poor officiated game and that's too bad. Would've loved to see both at full strength down the stretch.
I never thought it even possible until last night for the officiating crew to negatively effect the outcome of a game for Duke... But they did.
