I was using the grim reaper expandable but while I was shooting at a bag the other day the blades were bending
and falling off. My thinking is that if a blade can not stand up to a bag ( bought at ****s sporting goods), how is
this thing going to react when it hits an animal??? I am not looking to harm the deer or turkey but kill it as quickly as possible. So I am switching to fixed blade broadheads. Anyone that uses fixed have any good suggestions??

My setup is a Hoyt Rampage XT set at 60 pounds with a 28.50 draw and a 29.25 carbon Easton arrow with blazer
    vanes.

I prefer expandables but I like slick tricks. I like the montec also there very strong but I had a hard time getting them as sharp as I wanted

G5 Strikers are excellent....much sharper than the Montec...blades are replaceable...relatively easy to tune for a fixed head.

Slicktricks are right up there too.

In my opinion the slick tricks fly better than the montecs.
