Bow season for me is done until the fall so its time to try out some different add-ons to Bruteesha :)
I already have a Trophy Ridge Revolution rest on her and have put, geez high hundreds if not thousands of shots through it. I have no complaints about it, for what it costed me a year ago it's a great buy and has performed flawlessly. Now I'm about to trade it out for a NAP Apache drop away. Any thoughts on the Apache would be appreciated. Just keep in mind PRICE is a huge factor in archery equipment purchases for me so I'm sure some will recommend ones that cost twice as much. I'm shooting a PSE Brute X 2012 model, so specifically looking for newer PSE shooters as our riser, grip and mount holes are similar, thanks....

I don't have a newer PSE but man I LOVE my apache drop away. It improved my accuracy a noticeable bit, it's quiet as can be, an has worked flawlessly for over a year. You won't be disappointed!

I've had my Apache drop away on for a couple weeks now. I'm totally digging it! Like it a lot better than the Hostage rest I had on before.

I have both the Apache and the Trophy Taker Xtreme FC, and to me the Trophy Taker is much better quality, and quieter. It is more money, but I have seen them on Ebay for pretty cheap. If you go that route just be sure to get their top model, not the cheaper SL model with the plastic guard. I like the regular one better than the Smackdown or the Pro model too.

guess i'll be THAT guys, but I have a 2012 brute, and just bought the ripcord last weekend....LOVE IT......LOVE IT groups increased immediately! I had a WB originally. money is a big issue for me as well, but this one to me was worth the extra 2 month wait for me to save up the extra cash.

Before you buy the Apache, check out the new DownDraft by Truglo. It's the same design, but smaller, lighter, and allows you to load arrows from the side. It's all metal, and only $59, Winning!

    Ripcord code red > Apache

I have the apache carbon and it has been great. I just like the ability to lock the fork on the ripcord in the up position so you don't need the arrow holder on the shelf. Plus I like the adjustment on the ripcord better.

I didn't like the apache. It shot well but I didn't like how much the arrow was able to move around. The arrow had enough room to hit my riser and would make noise if I wasn't careful so I switched to the Ultra Rest. It was an excellent decision. I couldn't be happier.
