So some of you may know I had an MP6 set up in a drainage area off the main creek behind my house where I have been getting some pretty cool pics, mostly does, fawns and some owls that live right there. Well we have had 15 inches of rain since last Friday!!! Needless to say everything is flooded. Yesterday I am sitting at my desk and it hits me...... @#$% the cam!!!!! So soon as I got home I went to check it out..

The cam was on the small tree in the middle of the pic several feet under water. I couldn't stand the thought of leaving it there so I jumped in after it. (needed a bath anyway)

I am happy to report (though not a surprise to most Covert users I'm sure) The MP6 was completely dry inside and had functioned while under water. IMO pretty dang awesome!!!!

    Sadly no fish pics....

Usually that's an expensive swim. But with a Covert it is just another day in the woods.

Glad to hear the covert is okay! I'm surprised nobody has put a cam inside of some kind of clear, waterproof box and dropped it underwater. That would be pretty cool.

Yup, these cams have proven to be good swimmers. I've got a black 60 that's taken 3 swims so far this year.

Wow, that's pretty impressive that it stayed dry. I think this may be what sways me to convert to Covert. I've lost 3 cameras to water, so this is a big seller for me.

Kind of bummed you didnt get any underwater pics. Now who's going to be the first one that attempts a fish picture? I might give it a try. :tu:
