Party hunting is actually something that really bothers me,

Especially when people start taging 2, 3 , 4 bucks....

In Ohio, you get 1 antlered kill.

My point isn't that speeding and poaching are equal in punishment. My point is that laws are looked at differently, depending on how the personally affect you. Some people(not hunters) don't care about poaching. You and I probably don't give a rip that it's illegal to download music from the internet, but if we were musicians, we'd have a different take on it.

Trust me, I'm not sticking up for the poachers out there, I just think that people tend to get all high and mighty on the internet, as if they have never done anything wrong in their lives, and I was just hoping people would consider that before they start their sermons.

We had a guy get busted for doing that a couple years ago. I felt sorry for the guy though. He would drive around at night and shoot a couple does with a rifle. Not saying its okay to do that, but just a bad situation for someone to be in.

Exactly Siman! Same here in Indiana.

There is a reason why we have that rule, and I believe it is to make the hunting better for EVERYONE!

Illegal? piiiissshhh! The next thing your going to tell me is, that I can't hit more then 1 deer with my truck, at night, while driving drunk in a field, that I don't have permission to be in, with my brothers wife, and a bottle of wild turkey between her legs.

I once remember a guy who would post things and then wait to see how people took them. If they took them the wrong way, he would try to act innocent.

And.....you're still wrong. (Notice the proper spelling. :tu:)

Party hunting, tag sharing whatever you want to call it unless legal in your state is poaching.

Taking a deer that you are not legally able to harvest is poaching, regardless of who's name is on the tag. It's no different than shooting a deer, then going and buying a tag and tagging it, you poached it and tried to make it legal. Shoot a deer and use your friend/family member's tag it was taken illegally.

Look at the 3 guys currently in the news now who poached deer. They did similar tactics, others more blatant but they still incorrectly tagged poached deer.

The velevet deer would probably be enough to have a game warden look into the matter. From there let his investigation take it's course. He could find tag purchase and harvest report times don't add up, or some other suspicious actions that could prompt further digging. They're going to look into something that throws flags, hard to get to the bottom without scratching the surface. No harm in voicing a concern without making an accusation.

What a boring place that would be. Then we would miss out on someone looking down at people who like to enjoy a few drinks. Internet elitism is what makes forums entertaining!

Plus its full of morons who are easy to poke fun at.

Zing!!!! Ya got me on the spelling! Danno, I have the utmost respect for Pat ... we be Paisons! I also have mad respect for you, even tho you and Vito are lovers .... but I would never say someone is wrong because they differ in opinion on a matter as trivial as that ... so again, you were wrong, sans busting me on spelling :D

I suppose the definition of a trivial topic is subjective ;)
