Went by the airport and it showed 67mph. With everything so dry around here, the dust is creating about a 1/2 mile visibility. I'm ready for a little rain that's supposed to come tonight. Anyone else feeling the wind?

Wow, it was a plenty windy today and all night last night, it was probably gusting up into the high forties. But we just got blessed with a really fast but really needed rain. If I were to guess we probably got an inch in about 30-45 min, but fast or slow we were to the point where it didnt matter. Thanks God.

Seems it's always that way here being just a couple miles from the shore.

Well the wind died down but the storms came in. Recieved a good amount of rain and quite of bit of small hail. The wind blew all but 2 windows off my back porch. Which wasn't a big deal as I planned on replacing them sometime soon anyways. Even the big lid to my propane grill somehow got sucked out through the window & blew 75 yards across the road into the wheat field. Not too often do I feel a strong south wind, like it was yesterday.

Sounds like you got some of what we did Joey, it got pretty testy yesterday evening, but the good Lord did us a favor w/ the moisture.

Will did you get any hail damage?

Same here. We've been in a burn ban for a while now, so the moisture was much needed. I don't believe I got any hail damage as it was all small stuff... nothing too big.

Yea, the ranchers around here are definately itching to burn, if this dang wind ever stops blowing I imagine it will be quite smokey for a while.
