    i was suprised when i checked one of my cameras that a buck already shed its velvet.

    the outfitter i go to in illinois has pictures of a few that are shedding/ just out of velvet too, seems a little bit early for that.

    today was the first i have seen one out, pic of him this morning he was half out, tonight he was polished white, you know what he did all day!

    Been seeing alot more bucks shedding early this year with the drought compared to prior years

    It seems like things are a few weeks ahead of normal this year. I'm sure the drought has had a big part in it.

    Brother just seen 1 of our big boys two days ago hard horned in Western WI.

    havent seen one hard horned yet this year here in missouri, but they are deffinetely done growing and about ready to shed anytime. I havent checked my cameras yet so they could be.
