I've taken the wife a few times, but only once in a tree stand. The rest of the time's it's been in the tower blind. She can't stand to be cold, so she's not willing to go out in anything but perfect conditions. That's actually fine by me though. Honestly my hunting time is my time to get away from everything and recharge. I would gladly help her if she committed to it though, but I don't think that is going to happen.

I'd be suspicious. Make sure you always attach yourself to the safety strap before you attach her... she may be looking for an insurance payout...

on a serious note, get her a good harness and teach her everything about safety first before she ever leaves the ground!

That's pretty cool!! I remember asking my mom years ago why she never went hunting with us and her answer was simple, because no one ever asked her to. I've made it a point to include my wife as much as possible from before we had children to even this day. Always good to keep asking, even though you may already know the answer, sometimes they may surprise you.

I took my wife one time because she wanted to see what it's like. I decided to not shoot anything unless it was a big buck. I thought it might upset her to see a deer getting shot, so we just sit back and watched nature. It was a good night, see brought a book to read a little and ended up having 6 doe come by in bow range.
