well that's a big ol kick in the sack...heard those words this past Friday. company wide layoff as of august 30th when we lose our biggest customer to a trucking temp agency. my boss put all his eggs in one basket. unreal!!! I don't even know if we will make it that long..today one of the guys "hurt his back" and had to go to the ER in a ambulance..3 hours after being told about the layoff. on the brighter side, ya know the unrealistic side? how sad is this....im trying to be the best husband I can be.....hoping my wife will let me take the fall off for hunting.....could you imagine????!!!!!!! LOL I know that's a pipe dream, and not the most responsible thing to do. I spent this past weekend redoing my resume and have been firing it out like crazy ever since. sucks to start over.......there goes my booked Illinois hunt this fall .just praying I can get in somewhere else before the layoff hits. I was brought up being told hard work and doing the right thing always pays off in the long run, and that every thing happens for a reason! ughh!

dang sorry to hear it but i know its not the right thing and you have a family but if it was me id think hard about waiting it out all of october and going off unemployment till then lol its not as bad as the familys on welfare that are driving nicer vehicles than me and are very capable of working but just wont.
