This 'doe' has been around since I got my first commercial cam(3 years now)...that year she was the first deer to come up and give me a close up of her head. I always identified her by the notched right ear that looked like an arrow pierced it. That pic was my first avatar on the forums. Anyway I always thought it was odd that I would see her hanging around with bucks late summer and early fall...and last year she was hanging out with a 5pt and a nice 8pt..also she was obviously the dominant one. However 'she' also often seemed to have a yearling with her when I would see her in person or on cam. Well turns out that 'she' is actually a HE(or maybe he-she) Though there are no pedicles/antlers, take a close look in the nether region.
Yeah - I don't know about it...it don't look right no matter how you look at it. Then there is the fact that 'she' seemed to be in that small bachelor group the last couple years(bossing the bucks, and been hanging out with a spike again all summer this year). Maybe I will get another chance at 'her' and not miss...Then I might have something conclusive. --BTW P.T. this has been one of my nemesis does...she only gave me the once chance late last year.
"it" meaning the deer right? not "it" as in the sack of infected testes dangling from the nether region. :p
lol. Looks to me like an infected utter/nipples!? Like others have said put an arrow in 'it' and give us a definitive answer. Good Luck!
