I have been in the woods behind my house just putting a few cams out.. I have found a few old rubs and wanted to see if I could get anything on there. And wow did I almost fall out of my chair when I looked at this.. I put the pic of the deer and also a map of the land. Some info on the land to the north is a old water park that is closed down then to the east about 500 yard away is a highway then to the south is were my house is and to the west is a soccer complex.. I wish I knew how to go about hunting it.

Go to the courthouse and look at the plot maps there. It should give you a good idea.

See if your county has a GIS system, that's how I find out alot of land owners.

You just never know where a deer will live. Those are good bucks. Good luck obtaining permission.

Those are pretty, I would go to your local Clerk and see if you can find who owns the property or if it's owned by a company. The Clerks should have the owner on file for tax on the land, all I have to say is those are some beautiful velvets.

Awesome! Go get one of the bad boys.

Go to a search engine online. Look up "Your county, Your state GIS" it will give you a map of your county sectioned off. This will tell you who owns that parcel of land and show you the rough property line.

I would recommend finding out who owns the land and getting permission before you walk around and put up trail cams

This ^ as doing that could be (and really is) trespassing. Plus you'll need to check your city ordinances to see if hunting is even allowed within the city limits. While the state probably has no issue, the township might. I saw a huge 14pt near the lake by my house. He obviously beds in the thicket behind the creek (as it is the only woods, and they're a brush pit), I talked to the guy who owned the land and he had no issue with me hunting there as long as I carried insurance. Called the City it's in, and no go... I suggest calling the city first.
