Is it just me? The biggest event of the NFL is coming to my home state this year. I'm happy that maybe some revenue will be here and hopefully some New Jerseyans will get a chance to get some work during the event.
Unfortunately my team "Oakland" won't be in it but some of my buddies are excited about going, but me personally I have no urge on going. And most tell me I should want to go beings though it's here in Jersey. But to be honest yes I'm elated that it's being held in Jersey but I have been to Giant's stadium and all around that area, riding horses at the Medowlands Race Track, but I'd rather go to a superbowl in another city to see things I've never seen before.
Does this make me a non New Jersey supporter?? & is any other Jerseyans feeling the same?

I think it will make for an interesting story especially if we get another cold snap right around then. While football is made to be played outside in any weather, if the broncos make it, I see the NFC having a distinct weather advantage. Peyton just didn't look good this year when it was cold.

I was in charge of all the preparation and coatings of all the structural steel in that stadium.

Talk about massive projects....good work DF. Does your company also fabricate the steel or do you coat the steel at the sight location?

I don't work for them anymore. Was let go the week before thanksgiving. But yes, they did fabricate the steel as well.
The company is called Canam. They are just across the VA line in md on rt15. They do a lot of bridge work also. I was down around manasass last week interviewing at Williams industries.
