Super Noob - Release Aids

    Hey Y'all... I'm looking to get a release aid. I know that there are a few different kinds and I'm looking at either the full claw or hook type. By the name I know that these allow for a better (more accurate) release than by just fingers.

    That being said...here's my question.
    Do these aids allow you to draw while they are attached or do you have to draw and then attach?

    They hook on your string loop first then you draw back. Keep your finger behind the trigger until ready to shoot so you don't accidentally release your arrow.
