8 super bowl appearances is just insanity. It’s almost comical when someone tries to argue he isn’t the GOAT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not a conspiracy but how does a team play a whole game with 1 penalty and that flag was picked up? Really how many teams other than the patriots played a game without a penalty in the NFL the whole 2017 season? Granted Bill is the best coach in the NFL but still.
The pass interference called against the Saints against the vikings where the receiver held the hand down on the D-back and fell down and it was pass interference against the defense that was egregious and wrong.
Dang, Sota! That was an incredible run-on sentence. I didn't see that game so I had to read it a couple of times to sort out what you were saying.
The only comment I have add to this thread that is relevant is that I am going to enjoy watching the Patriots win.
You know, I never was a Patriots fan and not long ago I despised Tom Brady. I'm still not a Patriots fan to be honest, but when everyone in the entire freakin' world dog piled on Brady for "deflate gate" I thought it was ridiculous. Come on, does it really make that much of a difference? What made me change my opinion was when they came back and P R O V E D they really were just that good by delivering a repeat performance using footballs with their PSI under a microscope. I'm still not a Patriots fan, but I'll take them any day over the Eagles.
Interestingly, during the first half, when the Patriots were reportedly using the deflated footballs, quarterback Tom Brady completed 11 of 21 passes for 95 yards, one touchdown and one interception, as New England scored 17 points. In the second half, Brady completed 12 of 14 passes for 131 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions, as New England scored 28 points.
That's NFL officiating for you. Happens in every single game that is played. Missed calls, bad calls, etc. I don't think it will ever be fixed. The refs miss calls and everyone throws a fit, the refs call too many penalties and everyone throws a fit.
One of the things about the NFL that bugs me, seems like you have to wait for 5-10 seconds after every play to see if there is a penalty.
And if there's a review...good lort...takes forever to get the game back moving. I like hockey, 20 mins of playing, and 1 30sec timeout for the game, plus, they let them hit each other.
