Denver 24 Seattle 21 Ditto. I got it at even too and bet Denver. Would probably just stay away from this in general other than it's the Super Bowl and felt like betting it. I dont' like Percy Harvin being back either. Banking on Peyton finishing off his dream year. Probably betting with heart more than head.
This sums up exactly why I touched this game. My hatred (for lack of a better word) for the Seahawks clearly blinds me.....but it's the Super Bowl lol.
If they can keep Peyton's hands warm it will be a blowout, if not Seattle has a chance. Ether way as long as the beer is cold & plentiful I'll be happy.
Anybody else think the Denver defense is being overlooked (especially considering they are playing Seattle offense)? They held the Pats to 64 rushing yards in the AFC Championship game. All we hear about is the best offense against the best defense. Seattle pretty much sucked on offense the last 6 games. Actually in the post season Denver is 2nd in total defense and first rushing yards allowed per game on defense.
Agreed....bottom line for me is that Peyton's gonna get his and Wilson has not been stellar the last 6 games.... I don't see it close..
Predictions on how many no-calls there will be of defensive holding/pass interference against Seattle DB's? Lots of talk about being physical against Denver's receivers so it could be interesting to see how it'll be called.
I think the level of physicality the refs allow Seattle's db's is going to be a huge factor in the outcome of the game.
And I think Denver has already game planned for that. Lot of slants, screen and pick routes. Moreno effectiveness could be huge too. Seahawks have given up the least amount of 20 yard + receptions in the league this season. Manning and Denver know this and will put in a plan accordingly.
