What special recipes are you having for the Super Bowl? I'm looking for some new ideas. I know I will be having shrimp but that is about all. Something in the slow cooker would be good.

My mom always makes a cheese dip in the slow cooker. She melts a thing of Velveeta and mixes in ground sausage and Ro*Tel tomatoes.

She also mentioned fixing some baked chicken quesadillas and some ultimate nacho recipe she found on Pinterest.

Jalapeno Dip} Something different good served with bread pieces

Drunken Weiners} A must have for me during any football

and possibly Broccoli Cheese Soup} A good filler food actually

All of these made in the crock pot so it's simple!

I will just fry or grill them using just salt and pepper. Then I toss them in some B dubs sauces then pop in the oven to keep warm until I serve them.

    I normally make.

wings (4 diff kinds) Duck chili And lots of finger foods.

Unfortunately this year I will be starting my new job Monday and have to travel that Sunday. So I will be in Richmond alone for the Super Bowl alone. Probably just find a local bar or something.

Be cautious... This isn't to be taken lightly. I've heard that is something hard to forget about after just "trying it out." Lol

We put on a spread that can feed a small army. I must say it's pretty impressive. Pics coming.

We will be making tacos for the main course but here is the recipe for one of our appetizers.

    Easy Pepperoni Pizza Dip

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
    1 tablespoon italian herbs
    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1 cup pizza sauce
1 package of dime size pepperoni
    2 tablespoons sliced black olives

    Directions

1.In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, oregano, parsley, and basil.
2.Spread mixture in the bottom of a 9 inch pie plate, or a shallow microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese on top of the cream cheese mixture. Spread the pizza sauce over all. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, pepperoni and olive slices. Cover, and microwave for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
