Have to disagree here. His continued taunting and disrespect for opposing players gives him no respect in my book.
Why can't people just respect that there will be differing opinions on who the GOAT is? I like Montana but I don't think people are wrong to say it's Brady. It's just a difference of opinion.
I think Brady would say it's easy to have no losses in the Super bowl when you only have 4 appearances. The disregard for Brady and the patriots is amusing. He threw the ball 50 times and won. Completed 74% of his passes against arguably one of the best defenses the league has seen in some time. The fact is without that **** luck catch by Kearse the play call at the end is irrelevant. I am still trying to figure out what #30 on the Patriots was doing when he jumped over Kearse while the ball was bobbling in the air. Seattle lost to a better team, and before the game I had my doubts that was the case.
I think the argument could be made that Joe was the GOAT in the era he played. Todays NFL is very different than the 80's and 90's football.
not really in my mind simple fact is that 1 play changes the entire landscape of the conversation this morning, a play that Brady had nothing to with we would be talking about Lynch and how clutch Wilson is
As I said before that is why they play the game and it's not won or lost in the court of public opinion..
here is the thing about your mind and my mind neither matter, in the long run it does not matter what we think ...
Isn't it common knowledge that better quarterbacks lose before the Super Bowl than lose in the Super Bowl?
The game consists of over a hundred different plays, not just one. That one play does not define greatness, it just helps to even more solidify Bradys greatness.
The stupid catch that set up that drive is EXACTLY why I think the play call at the end doesn't matter that much. They should have never been in that situation to begin with... Talk about one play changing the landscape of the game and then completely ignoring the luckiest catch in SB history possibly... that doesn't really jive. Tom Brady was down by 10 against the best defense in the league (many claim best defense in decades) and he came back in the 4th quarter with a 13 for 15 124 yard 2 touchdown performance.... and that doesn't impress some of you? As for the GOAT, as others said... it's a dumb point to argue kind of. I think it's Brady, but I wasn't around for Montanas greatness. Hard to pick one best across a sport that changes so much with it's generations of new players. If nothing else, maybe people will finally shut up about Manning being better this generation.

It's very close. A toss up really. Brady (and Joe) both belong right there talking about it. What Brady did in that 4th quarter was remarkable to me. Big time!!! The thing with Montana that sticks out to me is the ZERO losses in a Super Bowl. I compare him to Jordan of the NBA. The dude just had that little "it" factor that there was no possible way he was going to lose that game. But.... like I said, it could go either way. I find them both great and respect what they both have done in their careers.
And for Gods sake!!!!!! Enough with the what ifs!!!!!!!!! What if the miracle catch didn't happen? What if Lynch ran the ball? What if they ruled Dez Bryant a catch>?? What if the Packers didn't have an all time epic collapse against Seattle? What if there wasn't an offside call in the first quarter? Holy cow!!!! You can what if back to training camp. It is what it is.
