Took the wife out on a little Monday evening date to watch Super 8. I think it could possibly be about the 1st movie that I can remember where we both really enjoyed it. It definitely has the E.T. feel to it that Spielberg brought along and would recommend watching it. It also made me remember of a post from December of the game camera picture of the zombie creature supposedly taken in the South that TEmbry said was a leak from this movie....http://www.metacafe.com/watch/hl-501...ght_on_camera/ It wasn't a leak from this movie...meaning this creature is real and loves Pate, Capers and microbrewery beer. Hooker watch out!
hmmmmmmmmmm really? i'll have to check the Fandango... heard it was doing well but i just wasnt impressed by the trailers
It's funny you mentioned the trailers because I told the wife that the trailers that I saw were shot at a different angle than the movie. I hate watching trailers that show you the entire movie. I think you'll like it Isaiah.
i'll give er' a try! how's Chief country? funny story, i just bought a truck from McPhearson, KS.... thought of you, was gonna fly down and pick it up, but cheaper just to ship the thang.........
Chiefs country is good, except for the two levees that just broke at the tip of NW Mo. I hate to say it but I have my doubts that they'll repeat at AFC West champs. Their schedule is gonna be brutal and with this rookie class not getting in the work, I think it will be tough. I've seen it happen countless times when a team breaks out their following year they seem to take a step back but the 3rd year is when they take the major step forward. Just saw on NFL Network, the fans believe the Vikings will win the north......
I saw Super 8 over the weekend and was real happy with it. I thought it was a real good movie and would recommend it. I agree it had an E.T. feel to it, but you could see Abrams on it with all the action.
Cool, will look it up when it comes to on-demand on Comcast. Side note...watched the movie Biutiful (not misspelled, actual name) a week ago. Heck of a movie even though it had sub-titles.
Really? I've heard that while it is a beautifully made and depressingly tragic movie, that the story is not really there. Kinda the same criticism Inarritu received for Babel. I'll probably still watch it to develop my own opinion.
Hook, I had never really seen a movie like that before to be honest. It was just so unique that I was captivated from the start. I believe the story was there the whole time. Every day average people with some crazy tragic stuff happening. And the world keeps on turning and leaves them behind, dead or alive. It was like their story was lost in that big city madness and with the unrelenting passing of time. We are just so small. Just my take.
I didn't say I agree with it...just what I saw. I was thinking, aren't the Pack still in the NFC North?
