I realized I did not bring any of my hunting targets up here to PA and needed to at least work on my mechanics. Well the only store in town that sells targets was out. I don't like going by more than a few days without shooting...it makes me real nervous.

My youngest two kids and I made the target out of carpet and an old mesh jersey bag. hahahaha. 0$. It worked great at stopping arrows and the kids had a lot of fun. I feel better moving into this weeks hunting.

Thats pretty innovative! Theres no doubt about it, in a pinch this would be a great way to touch up on your mechanics.

Thanks guys, they sure had a lot of fun cutting the carpet and then designing it.

Matt, I have ideal winds tomorrow for my stand and I pushed into the bedding area. Going for broke tomorrow morning. Hope it works out.
