After purchasing a Razor SS I assembled it and felt like I had overtightened the two bolts that are used when attaching a detaching the climbing bar. The tubing was slightly crushed so just to make sure it would be safe to use I emailed summit customer service late that night to see what they thought about the matter. I offered to send them pics if they wanted and by the time I woke up the next morning I had already recieved an email back from them requesting me to send them a picture. No more then 5 minutes after I emailed them the pictures my phone was ringing and it was summit treestands (I couldnt believe how fast it was!). They informed me that my razor was probably still safe to use but that they were going to send me a brand new top anyways just to be on the safe side and that the order would be put in today and all shipping would be covered even on the return shipping of my stand back to them. This was by far the best customer service I have ever recieved and after dealing with them I felt obligated to spread the word on what a great company Summit is and what great products they have to offer. Thanks Summit!

Thats great to hear! I have been a Summit user for about the last 10 or so years and have ALWAYS had great experiences with them. I've never had to contact them with a problem, but I never would worry if I ever had to.

I would and do recommend Summit stands to anyone who asks. Not only are their stands well built, comfortable and very user friendly, but the guys and gals who work for Summit are class acts as well.

I would agree had a Viper ss and one of the welds broke on the stand after 8 years of use and they replaced it with a brand new stand, no questions ask. that is awesome customer service!

If I ever buy new, this makes me think summit is for me. I like craigslist though. I have two summit stands, wonder if they'd cover second hand equipment.. lol

I praised them several years back on another forum on their great customer service. Guess a Summit representative saw the post and he sent me a free Summit hat and padded backstraps. Summit is top notch.
