Anyone have any experience using the above tripod{pod} or any portable tripod stand?

Tripods are pretty popular in some Texas brush country. I bowhunt out of one occasionally on a property in west Tx I have permission to hunt. It leaves something to be desired as far as cover goes. The stand is brushed in as well as possible and has a few scrub oaks behind it but I really prefer a tree. The tripod is quiet and comfortable but I just feel too exposed. Also one of the guys on my east Texas lease uses one. He weighs in at about 350 and doesn't feel safe in any other type of stand. He complained last year of being busted several times while bowhunting and never got a shot off.
Oh, and BTW, welcome to the forums!
