I made a post not to long ago about wanting to get a climber. Well BP has the summit 180 for $249 right now. I have looked it over and it looks pretty good and not to heavy. My question is since it has a bar around it, does the bar come up and is it hard to shoot a bow out of.(I'm pretty short so I didn't know id I would be able to shoot over it)?
    Thanks for the help

I don't have any experience with the Summit 180 but I'll gladly share my experiences with the Razor SS. It has the best of both worlds because it has a bar that allows you to sit and climb. Once you have reached your desired height, you can easily fold the bar underneath your seat and have an open front to easily shoot from.

I bought the Summit 180 from BP about 2 weeks ago and have been climbing w/ it every day. I had the same concerns about the rest b/c I too am pretty short (5'7"). But after practicing w/ it, the bar doesn't get in the way at all, unless your planning on shooting from a seated position or shooting straight down. I choose the 180 b/c it was a little wider than some of the other stands and the bar makes me feel alittle safer. I'm very happy w/ it. Its light weight, study and easy to use.
