Summertime Smallmouths!

    I know you guys up north catch plenty of these little beasts. Around here they are not as easy to come by. This evening we got on em good. This is my biggest to date. He was just over 21 inches and weighed in at 4.2 lbs (by our scales anyways) thing put up on hell of a fight.

    We ended up with 3 a piece with a few huge ones broke off! Add over 50 Largemouths to that I say it was a good day of fishing in almost 100 degree weather! It's hard to beat this time of year when you get on them good.

    Yesterday I was throwing soft plastics in 30-42 foot of water. My buddy was using something I've never seen and can't explain, but he was raking fish in with it!
