Alright guys, you helped me out bunches last summer, by recommending the cabin we stayed in at Clear Lake Resort. Looking to o somewhere else this summer. Its going to be 4 of us, looking to go to Wisconsin, Minnesota, maybe even Canada. Looking for good fishing, nice cabin, doesn't have to be terribly close to a town but within 10 miles would be good.

Thanks guys! I know you won't let me down!

    Mike

Go back and see Bob and Kelly again. ;) I'll be going back for our 6th year in a row. Good luck on you're search. Many beautiful places to choose from no doubt.

Check out vrbo.com or homeaway.com. Rent peoples own homes or cabins. Its not much more expensive than a resort and the homes can be quite nice.

My family stayed around Brainerd, MN (Nisswa to be exact) last year. Hundreds of lakes within 30 miles, good tourist traps (if you want to go to them), good food, food fishing, etc.

My best friends parents own "Anderson's Cove" on Leech Lake here in northern MN. You can't find more down to earth people than them... Strongly recommend you check them out.
