I just put my camera out. And this guy was on there. I'm stoke. This being my 3rd season after getting back into bow hunting. Now my question is. When do the buck start going nocturnal. Most of the pics were day time. This is the biggest buck I've ever seen. (Not on tv). Any ideas on age and size. My guess is 3 and 100 -110? This is in the se area I shot my frist buck last year and saw 2 buck in the rut.

Most bucks naturally go nocturnal as their bodies start to change. Many do so when they start to shed their velvet or when they feel hunting pressure in the woods. It varies based on the age of the buck.

Depends on the deer. I have found at my place that once the velvet comes off buck get more nocturnal.

The lack of brows really hurts him. Great deer though! Where are you hunting?
