I'm looking to start a mineral sight or two on some newly acquired hunting land. I've got 86 acres in northern WI and am wondering if I should put out a couple trophy rocks, or something else that is already in pellet form?

I'm looking for something that will not only aid in antler growth, but also overall herd health.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.:deer:

Trophy rocks are what I use and have had great results with. Never had luck with much other stuff. It can also depend on your area, a few people I know use Lucky Buck and thier deer love it more than trophy rocks, but our deer don't touch the stuff. I suggest experimenting a bit with different brands and see what works best for you.

Trophy Rocks are over 94% salt.

I have used several mineral brands from Trophy Rock to Whitetail Institute's 30.06, salt blocks, mineral blocks, bagged salt, bulk/bag mineral from TSC and even a couple other name brand minerals. Over the last few years I sat and watched the results pour in from quite a few people's mineral stations using the Monster RAXX and decided I needed to give it a try this year. All I can say so far is I am more than pleased with the results and I have had more bucks show up to these sites than ever, something I noticed from the other guys that were using it as well. The other thing I have noticed, and what convinced me to give it a try initially, is I have gotten more frequent visits from the same bucks. This was the one thing in particular that I did not see with any of the other minerals I have tried over the years.
