Just ordered my first cam... an MP6 :D

Any suggestions on cards and a reader? My plan for now is to get 2 cards (was thinking 8gb) and some sort of card reader that plugs into my pc. That way I'll just take a new card to the cam and swap it out.

Any suggestions for something inexpensive, but good? Or is there a better way to do it?

    Thanks! :D

An sd card should just plug into the side or front of your computer. At least that what I've seen with every laptop.

do you have a digital camera that take sd cards? or a smartphone that takes a micro sd card? If you have an android smartphone, just buy a micro sd card and a standard sd adaptor. put the micro into the adaptor and then the camera. when you check it just throw the micro card into your phone... bam, picture reader

I have an older digital camera, it takes std sd card - and an iphone. Im not that concerned with reading in the field right now, which is why I thought a card reader to plug into the usb port on my pc would make it a pretty easy setup. ?

You are wise to get two cards for your camera and just swap them. No one wants to stand out in 90 degree heat and swarming mosquitos to look at pics, at least I don't. There's a little cheap card reader I got at Walmart that reads several different cards that just plugs in to the USB port on your PC. I also have a Leupold viewer that I can use if I want to look at pics before I get home.

    Blessings..........Pastorjim
