Looking for a drop away rest for my new z7x. It sounds lame, but I'd like it to be lost camo to match the bow.

I've narrowed it down to the QAD Ultrarest hdx and ripcord code red. Anyone out there have either of these? Likes or dislikes? Or other suggestions?

Also, just to throw a small curve ball, I was on the axion archery website and they have a new drop away for 2012 called the GLR drop away. Anyone know anything about this rest? My proshop guys hadn't heard anything about it yet.

Thanks for your info, god bless!

Cant go wrong with either. I like the QAD just a tad more over the ripcord just for the sake that it seems to me manufactured a little better and more rugged.

Schaffer Opposition is a great rest. Wouldn't use anything else.

I really like the Vaportrail Limbdriver Pro V. Seen a pic where they are going to have some dipped in Lost Camo. You might be able to call them to get one.

You might consider either the revolution micro from trophy ridge or one of the NAP rests like the sizzor I shoot and really like.

I have a RipCord on my bow and love it. Best investment that I have put on my bow. I also put one on a friends bow and he shoots a Matherws and like his rest.

I higly recommend the vaportrails limbdriver rest. It is an excellent rest made by a great company. They are very easy to install, tune and shoot great.

I have a QAD ultra rest on both of my bows, the best rest out there IMO.

I like the Limbdriver Pro V by Vapor Trail as well. "Ears" is a good guy and customer service there is top notch.

I have the ripcord on my z7x, and my buddy has one on his destroyer D340. there's a combined 3 years of rest right there and 0 issues. The thing is bulletproof. It's also nicely priced and you can get lost camo (requirement when I was buying a rest as well).

I saw the axion one also, it looks interesting. The only problem I simply can't justify the cost (>$0) right now when I have a rest that hasn't hit even the smallest of speed bumps.

*Oh, and ripcord customer service is pretty good too. The bolts on mine were rusting, I sent them an email about it and within a week had a full bolt kit at my door.
