It’s time to buy a replacement tree stand harness and looking for something light weight and a good fit. If anyone has any suggestions I’d like hear them.

Could always check out a tree saddle. Even if I went back to a tree stand, I would still use my saddle. Much lighter and safer if your hanging in it.

I did that a lot last season. Also gave me the option to flip the seat up, move my static line up to saddle level and flip around and actually use the saddle as a saddle. Loved it.

One of main reasons I built mine. Though this reminds me my HSS vest may be way too big this year . Good thing I made my saddle very adjustable..saddles are so comfy.

Hunter Safety Systems has several very good options. The Ultralite and the Shadow Harness are my favorites.

I’m replacing my summit harness with a HSS shadow harness. Price is right and it’s light !!

Thanks for the comments. Seems the HHS is something to look at. The tree saddle is interesting.

HSS Shadow is probably the best lightweight harness for the money right now. I wore one all last year and was very happy with it.

I really like the summit pro harness. Very comfortable and prefer it over the vest type I have used all the years before. I just don’t like the vest for underneath a scentlok suit.
